Synopsis
A group of neighbors stranded on a farm in rural Georgia must put aside their differences and unite against a mysterious and deadly threat. Adapted from Stinger (1988) by Robert McCammon. By the end of the second episode, I wasn’t sure about the show. No spoilers, but the sound effects themselves were so gut-wrenching that I was curious to hear more! The visual effects were also quite grotesque! The horror reminds me of the fun practical effects of 80s and 90s horror, but mixed with CGI. At the end of the second series, the series finds itself. I think it’s perfectly fine for the showrunners to take their time and work on the story – we used to spend a lot more time on shows when 24 episodes was the norm. I’ll be curious to see what direction the show takes from here. Interesting new show 🙂
